One of the best experiences I've had at our garden has to be the children's response to growing their own fruits and vegetables. This has been priceless. Most of our students have never done this before, so every step, every new discovery has been met with wonder, excitement and a sense of self satisfaction. [It has been] rewarding to me as a facilitator and rewarding to the children, seeing the results of their labor.
